2025 Roast for the Coast!

Join the North Carolina Coastal Federation this fall in the scenic gardens of the New Hanover County Arboretum for our 2025 oyster roast, A Roast for the Coast! Gather with friends to enjoy steamed local North Carolina oysters as well as clam chowder, corn chowder, and other southern favorites. Proceeds from this event will support the Federation’s local efforts to restore our native oysters, including recycling oyster shells to support new oyster reefs coastwide, and restoring new local reefs in the lower Cape Fear River. This event is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather!
