Earth and Arts OBX: An Earth Day Celebration

The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau is teaming up with the incredible crews at Ignite Live and Soundside Markets to bring you an unforgettable Earth Day Sunset Celebration on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4 PM through sunset at the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head.
Come celebrate our planet in one of the most beautiful settings on the Outer Banks as we officially unveil and “cut the ribbon” on the brand-new soundside boardwalk! This special evening brings the community together for a lively mix of local organizations, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of good vibes.
As the sun dips over the sound, enjoy live music from Brooke and Nick, followed by an energetic performance from Hot Sauce—setting the perfect soundtrack for a memorable Earth Day by the water.
