
2025 Taste of the Coast Celebration

Join the North Carolina Coastal Federation for the Taste of the Coast Celebration, a fabulous summer evening celebrating North Carolina’s beautiful and bountiful coast!
This casual celebration will take place on Saturday, September 20, on the banks of Bogue Sound at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City. You can also make plans to attend the Pelican Awards, a separate event starting at 5:00 pm at Carteret Community College.
The festive Taste of the Coast celebration will include food and wine pairings, fresh N.C. oysters (raw and steamed), live music, and a wonderful group of coastal supporters!
Back again this year is the outstanding silent auction featuring the best of the coast, from weekend trips, boat tours, artwork, and more, as well as live music, local seafood, and great company. Our auction will open on August 15, with new items added every week!

You may also want to make plans to attend the Pelican Awards Ceremony at 5:00 pm at Carteret Community College, a separate event from the Celebration. Check back soon for more information!

Our popular silent auction will be entirely paperless again this year! In addition to being better for the environment, this also allows for faster checkout at the end of the night. You’ll be able to place bids easily from your phone at the event, from bidding stations with the help of volunteers, or even at home if you’re not able to attend.
