Gifts In-Kind

The federation welcomes and appreciates your gifts in-kind. We’ve accepted property, conservation easements, boats, vehicles, furniture, computers, library books and other items that the federation might need to buy or would like to own. We sometimes are able to accept items that can be sold with funds directed to our work. You can contact us about specific items or check our Wish List for ideas.

In-kind donations are accepted from businesses, corporations, other groups and individuals.
Each gift in-kind is reviewed to be sure it meets our needs, before it is accepted and acknowledged.
The Internal Review Service (IRS) requires the donor to determine the value of a gift- the federation is not permitted to provide donation valuation. If the estimated value exceeds $5,000, the IRS requires an appraisal to substantiate the gift’s value.

For more information, please contact federation Development Officer, Sarah King at sarahk@nccoast.org or call (919) 210-2617.
