Town of Manteo Spring Litter Pickup

The North Carolina Coastal Federation will join forces with the Town of Manteo for a volunteer event to pick up trash and debris along the Manteo waterfront.
Volunteers are invited to gather at the Maritime Museum at 8:45 am to pick up supplies and get instructions. Then volunteers will disperse in groups and spend a couple of hours scouring the town for litter. Help us make Manteo shine, reduce coastal marine debris and have fun with your neighbors, all while keeping Roanoke Island beautiful.
All of the necessary cleanup materials will be provided. Come in your work clothes, be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Join us as we partner with the Town of Manteo for the annual Spring Litter Cleanup to keep Shallowbag Bay clean, safe and beautiful.
