Kerryanne grew up along the East Coast but quickly fell in love with the Crystal Coast after moving here in high school. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a master’s degree in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston. Kerryanne has always felt drawn to protecting coastal resources through scientific research, educational programming, and environmental eco-tours. As the Outreach and Extension Coordinator, she hopes to support the Federation’s mission by connecting science with the community through meaningful outreach. When she’s not working, Kerryanne enjoys any outside activities that involve exploring the coast with family and friends, and especially her dog!
