Thanks for your interest in volunteering with the North Carolina Coastal Federation!  We are excited to have you join our group of over 350 active volunteers.  The federation is a non-profit organization with a mission to protect North Carolina’s coastal water quality and natural resources.  Our staff of 23 cannot do this alone so we rely heavily on  volunteer support.  Some of our large projects that involve volunteers include oyster restoration and “living shoreline” plantings, which occur along the entire coast.  Volunteers also actively participate in festivals, office support, trail maintenance, property stewardship, lobbying and coastal monitoring.

All of our volunteers events are posted on our website and we encourage you to register for events online.  If you have any questions, please contact Rachael Carlyle at rachaelc@nccoast.org or 252-393-8185.
