National Oyster Day At Hammocks Beach State Park

The North Carolina Coastal Federation will be taking part in a National Oyster Day celebration at Hammocks Beach State Park.
Come watch nature’s filtration systems in action as we discuss their role in the estuary and food web, the health benefits of consuming them, and the economic value to North Carolina. Joining the Schools in Parks Specialist is the Coastal Education Coordinator, Rachel Bisesi, from the Coastal Federation. No sign-up required, meet in the auditorium.
