Fall Litter Clean-up with the Town of Manteo

The Coastal Federation will join forces with the Town of Manteo for a volunteer event to pick up trash and debris along the Manteo Waterfront, and we hope you will join us in our efforts.

Volunteers are invited to gather at the Creef Boathouse at 8:45 a.m. for coffee and donuts. Be sure to wear work clothes and plan to spend a couple of hours scouring the town for litter. All of the necessary cleanup materials will be provided, all we need is your help! Be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.

Help us make Manteo shine, reduce coastal marine debris, and have fun, all while keeping Roanoke Island beautiful. This event is held in honor of Rodney “Crow” Murray, a longtime employee of the Town of Manteo.
