2026 Taste of the Coast Celebration
September 12 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Join the North Carolina Coastal Federation for the Taste of the Coast Celebration, a fabulous summer evening celebrating North Carolina’s beautiful and bountiful coast!
This casual celebration will take place on Saturday, September 12, on the banks of Bogue Sound at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City.
The festivities will include food and wine pairings, fresh N.C. oysters (raw and steamed), live music, a beautiful view of the sunset over the water, and a wonderful group of coastal supporters!
Back again this year is the outstanding silent auction featuring the best of the coast, from weekend trips, boat tours, artwork and more, as well as live music, local seafood, and great company. Our auction will open August 15, with new items added every week!

Silent Auction:
Our popular silent auction will be entirely paperless again this year! In addition to being better for the environment, this also allows for faster checkout at the end of the night. You’ll be able to place bids easily from your phone at the event, from bidding stations with the help of volunteers, or even at home if you’re not able to attend. You’ll need to set up your bidding profile with a credit card in advance, and can start bidding once the auction opens on August 15th. Please click here to set up your bidding profile (Click “Get Started”)- and be sure to use a good mobile number or email so you can receive updates if you are outbid! (link TBD
