To celebrate any occasion, a gift membership is ideal. Your gift can be mailed directly to the recipient or to you for presentation. - Donations
Your tax deductible contribution can be designated to support a specific project at NCCF or for our most urgent needs. Either way you can be assured that your gift will be put to work quickly and efficiently. Ninety-six cents of every dollar donated to NCCF goes directly to support program work. - Honorariums and Memorials
Honor or remember someone special with a gift to NCCF. An attractive acknowledgment is mailed to announce your donation in support of coastal conservation. - Sponsorship
NCCF conducts a variety of environmental education programs and activities. If you or your company would like to help underwrite a program, please call for opportunities. - Matching Gifts
Many companies offer a matching gift program to their employees to encourage support of organizations like NCCF. Please include your matching gift form with your donation or membership. - Planned Gifts
The NCCF's Pelican Circle recognizes coastal stewards who have included the NCCF in their will or other estate plans. Through a provision in your will, you can make a simple, yet significant gift that will provide for the future protection of the coastal environment. You can leave a dollar amount, specific property, stock, an insurance policy or a portion of your estate to the North Carolina Coastal Federation, Inc. To ensure that all legal requirements are met and that your wishes are fully understood, it is important to have your attorney draft or revise your will. Each year Pelican Circle members are invited to join the Executive Director for a special on-the-water outing for a personal look at NCCF's work. Endowments provide income for the North Carolina Coastal Federation, while allowing the principal to grow. The NCCF has three endowments to which anyone can donate any amount. Contributions may be made to the Coastal Federation or to the Community Foundations. Named endowments may be established with a minimum donation of $5,000.
The Desales Harrison, Jr. Stewardship Fund
Purpose: To promote stewardship of NC's coastal resources
Kathleen Bryan Edwards Endowment
Held by the NC Community Foundation
Purpose: To support NC Coastal Federation operations and programs
L. Richardson Preyer Endowment
Held by the Triangle Community Foundation
Purpose: To support capital improvements and acquisitions
