DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of coastal stories\, history\, and conversation with historian Glenn Blackburn\, author of Saving Great Places and A Spectacular Coast and Its Guardians.  \n\n\n\nThrough hundreds of interviews with staff\, volunteers\, fishermen\, scientists\, and community leaders\, Blackburn’s books tell the story of the North Carolina Coastal Federation’s grassroots beginnings and its coastwide work to protect and restore the places we love.  \n\n\n\nGuests will have the opportunity to meet the author\, get your copy personally signed\, and learn more about the people and places that shaped the Federation’s history. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served. \n\n\n\n\nRegister Here\n\n\n\n\nParking Information: \n\n\n\nTo obtain your 2-hour free parking pass\, text WBLOOP to 25023 and click the link. You will need to enter your license plate number\, but no payment method is required. Parking is enforced March 1–October 31 daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Vehicles must be parked within a marked space.
