Whether you enjoy boating\, beach days\, or simply want to keep our waters clean and our communities strong\, this is a relaxed space to connect with others\, hear from local voices\, and stay up to date on important coastal topics. Each month\, we’ll highlight a different issue—like salt marsh restoration\, oysters\, or local happenings that impact the coast—and talk about how we can work together to protect the places we all enjoy. Grab a drink from the bar and join the conversation—these events are free and open to the public. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho: Anyone who loves our coast! \n\n\n\nWhat: A relaxed\, come-as-you-are meetup featuring a new coastal topic each month \n\n\n\nWhere: Rooftop Bar at Jack’s on the Waterfront – 513 Evans St\, Morehead City\, NC 28557 \n\n\n\nWhen: One Thursday a month from 5:30–7:30 PM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApril’s Speaker \n\n\n\nRandy Newman\, Superintendent\, Fort Macon State Park \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis month\, we are welcoming Randy Newman from North Carolina State Parks. He’ll share insights from his decades of experience at Fort Macon\, including his work to maintain the historic site and protect the diverse flora and fauna found within the park. \n\n\n\nAttendees will gain a deeper understanding of how State Parks contribute to coastal conservation and learn ways to support and engage with these important public lands\, while also hearing personal perspectives from a lifelong steward of one of North Carolina’s most valued coastal resources. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Here

Closed-toe shoes that cover the foot are required. Volunteers should also bring a water bottle\, hat\, sunglasses and any medications they may need. Snacks\, water\, sunscreen\, bug spray\, gloves and planting tools will be provided.  \n\n\n\nThis event is limited to 30 people and registration is required. \n\n\n\n\nRegister Here

SUMMARY:Green Drinks Morehead City
DESCRIPTION:Green Drinks is a casual monthly gathering for people who care about our coast. \n\n\n\nWhat: A relaxed\, come-as-you-are meetup featuring a new coastal topic each month \n\n\n\nWhere: Rooftop Bar at Jack’s on the Waterfront – 513 Evans St\, Morehead City\, NC 28557 \n\n\n\nWhen: One Thursday a month from 5:30–7:30 PM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApril’s Speaker \n\n\n\nTBD \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Here
