Touch Tank Tuesday Live!
August 25 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
The North Carolina Coastal Federation’s most popular educational program in the southeast, Touch Tank Tuesday, will take place virtually during the summer of 2020. Beginning June 2nd, local residents and visitors from near and far can join us for this interactive, free program. Each week, you can learn more about North Carolina’s coastal habitats, get close up and personal with some of our coastal critters, and find additional fun activities and opportunities to help protect our beautiful coast. From purple sea urchins to red and green algae to blue crabs and orange horse conchs, the rainbow of wildlife to view varies each week. Post them on social media and tag @nccoastalfed for a chance to be featured on our website and social media!
Subscribe to our YouTube channel or head to our Distance Learning Lab every Monday to watch our weekly educational videos featuring live animals and information on issues affecting our coast. Be sure to tune in to our Facebook Live event each Tuesday at 10 a.m. when we’ll talk about the weekly video, our creature feature of the week, and other fun activities you can do on your own!
