Membership fees and donations are a primary source of operating income for the N.C. Coastal Federation and allow us to put coastal advocates, scientists and educators in the field to work with people of all ages up and down the coast. We have grown from a handful of supporters in 1982 to one of the most effective conservation groups in the state. We now have more than 10,000 members.

Membership Categories

Individuals or families: $35, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000
A special $15 student/limited income membership is available.

Additional benefits include: $100 level - NCCF cap; $250 level - NCCF t-shirt; $500 level - t-shirt and hat; $1,000 level – private boat tour. Tax information: Membership fees minus the value of benefits received are tax deductible. Fair market value of benefits are: $15 - $50 level:0; $100 - $250 level: $15; $500 level: $30; $1,000 level: $50.
