Wrightsville Beach Elementary School, located at 220 Coral Drive in Wrightsville Beach, is a small public K-5 school. Wrightsville Beach Elementary focuses on marine environment education in all classrooms, which fits nicely since they're so close to the water!. Cissie Brooks, who teaches marine science and is the school’s guidance counselor, has led student involvement each school year.

The 2005-2006 school year was the last year Wrightsville Beach Elementary was involved with the Coastal Federation's wetland plantings. They helped plant over 6,000 Spartina alterniflora plants over the past three years.
